WHPS following string of burglaries

West Hennepin Police Department has received multiple reports of numerous thefts and burglaries in the city of Maple Plain.

The thefts and burglaries are occurring in the evening hours and late morning hours.

Residents have reported stolen items of car stereos, vehicle rims, items left inside a vehicle; theft of copper and metal; boat motors, boat trailer; and from garages, mountain bicycles, tools, games and other items.

West Hennepin asks residents to lock their doors, vehicles and to secure their residence.

Call 9-1-1 immediately to report anything suspicious.
