3/25/2013 3:51:00 PM Woman sentenced for sex trafficking of a minor
On March 18, a 34-year-old Minneapolis woman, Kimberly Latham, was sentenced on one count of sex trafficking of a minor, according to the city of Minnetonka. In November 2011, Latham admitted she met and invited two young women, ages 17 and 18, to stay with her in her Minnetonka home.
Latham then asked the 17-year-old to use the residence to engage in commercial sex acts. Latham profited from the sex acts performed by the minor female. The case was investigated by the FBI and the Minnetonka Police Department.
Latham was sentenced to 132 months in federal prison by Judge Ann Montgomery.
