Local Lake Minnetonka couple Maia and Allan Haag have teamed up with 63 artists from around the world to publish "My Very Own World Adventure," a personalized storybook that takes a child on a magic carpet ride around the world to countries and places that spell out the child's first and last names in rhyme. For instance, if a child's name is Isabella, she might travel to Ireland, Saudi Arabia, Albania, Belgium and so on. "Young children start their lives with an understanding that the world is as large as their house," said Maia Haag. "And slowly their understanding of the size of world expands. We wanted to help parents expand their child's view of the world by giving them a chance through a storybook to visit countries all around the world."
